The year 2021 marks the 100th birthday of the prominent Russian mathematician and Academician Nikolai Nikolaevich Yanenko (1921-1984), whose life work was devoted to mathematical physics and continuum mechanics, mathematical modelling in continuum mechanics and the development of both, analytical and numerical methods to the solution of differential equations.
This conference is dedicated to Academician Yanenko’s s memory and has the purpose to bring together his former students and scientists who have been influenced by his work, and those who are working in the areas of his research work. Due to Covid travel restrictions it is organized as an online conference.
